Bad Service from Receptionist

Good Day. I went to Dr Bobat this morning as my primary Doctor was not open today. I have been consulting at Dr Bobat for quite some years now and had great service except for today. I was there by 8am, 3rd on the register. The receptionist told me that my medical aid no longer has out of network option and Dr Bobat is no longer there as a secondary provider. The lady told me that I should make Dr Bobat my primary provider. So I left.

I called my medical aid provider and explained the above. I was assured that the receptionist at Dr Bobat was not truthful as nothing has changed. Dr Bobat is still my secondary provider and that my out of network is till available as I have not used any of it. I was also provided with a reference number for the enquiry. I then called Dr Bobat's practice and provided the receptionist with feedback from my medical aid provider. The receptionist said I must have been assisted by someone else cause she only starts work at 9.30am. She said she is transferring my call to the one who assisted me, just to hang up on me. I called again, she didn't answer as she obviously was aware it was me again. I know that the lady I spoke to on the phone, is the same one that assisted me this morning. As mentioned earlier, been going there for years now.

I am thoroughly disappointed and hope that no one endures such ************** based on their choice of medical aid plan.
