SKIP!!! DON'T EVEN CONSIDER THIS DOCTOR

Where do I even start... I understand that she is a busy Dr but making patients sit around with a cup of urine for over and hour and a half is very unprofessional. After my first consult of looking for a contraceptive method - we both agreed I would come back in three weeks time to insert an IUD. "Just read the pamphlet and see what you want to do" - I should have known from then that I should not have gone back to this doctor but I did go back for the insertion.

The second time I went back, again I sat with a cup of Urine and waiting for just under an hour and a half. During the procedure, I was excruciating pain - I do understand that each person is different so I thought that is was "normal". After the procedure, NOTHING was explained to me (i.e. what I might experience) - just a "you might start cramping but take Gen Pain and you'll be fine", followed by "I don't want to do a follow up because then you must pay for another consult so just feel for the strings, if you can't feel them then you must book for a consult". For 3 weeks straight I was in so much pain. I tried calling the doctor, only to get the reception to say "I will ask the doctor and let you know" - I did not hear back from them. I was bleeding for 30 days straight, knowing that is not normal, I phoned them again only to be told "I did try phone you, if you look at your missed calls you will see (but there was NONE)" the RECEPTIONIST then told me "no it doesn't sound normal to me, maybe you should book to see the doctor again" so I asked her AGAIN, please can you get the doctor to phone me to give me peace of mind and her reply was "DR is very busy but I will ask and get back to you" - I have not heard anything. I will NOT pay for another consult I refuse - the consults are about 10 minutes and cost close to R2000.

I will not recommend this doctor to her anyone. To me, she just wants the money so she fills her diary to have 10 minute consults with each patient and they don't receive the treatment that they are wanting - pregnant women who look like they are about to pop wait over an hour as well. She is all about the money and has no care for what her patients. I have still not received a call from her.

All I can say is, do your research before you select your gynaecologist - If I had done my research properly and seen all the reviews of Dr B Green I would have definitely NOT have gone to her. I have seen some horror stories and majority of them also state that she is more concerned about the money than anything else.
