Traumatic experience, please don’t go to her if you want a pleasant pregnancy!

Wow, it has taken me 4 years to gather strength to re-live this memory. I found out I was pregnant rather late into it (as had pcos and no obvious signs) and went with Dr Hendricks as she was 100% medical aid rates. The absolute worst experience to date- she very clearly disapproved of my being unwed, made a remark “you want to have early labour don’t you” because I had bad braxton hicks and prescribed me Tramacet (at 8 months pregnant it was something crazy like 2 tabs every 6 hours!). She induced me and tried no other methods other than some gel to get Labour going, she just kept pressuring me for c-section even though baby was completely fine and no warning signs (nurses confirmed). They then put me under GA and I woke up without my baby because he’d been taken to NICU. I was SO lucky I had a healthy baby in the end, despite all this bizarre malpractice. I was severely depressed given the circumstances of my pregnancy and she did not ask me once if I was okay.
