Handed over for procedure completed 11 months ago and no correspondance ever received from Practice

<p>Yesterday I receive an email stating that i have been handed over by Dr A Ebersohn. The procedure was done 23/12/2015 and in the operating room Dr A Ebersohn confirmed verbally that he will charge what percentages the medical aids are willing to pay. I have given through proof to the debt collectors showing that previous work done by Dr A Ebersohn again 11 months after the procedure was done we got the statement and paid the same day in full. Now i am proposing paying over a whole lot of months because it is a few k and the debt collector has an inclusive 15% fee but if the payment terms are more than three months i will be paying 37%? can anyone give me some assistance? I have made contact with the National Consumer Comission to see how and what the Law states as to making payments. Dr A Ebersohn has made it clear that he does not want to maybe lessen the rates at all so i will need to pay this somehow its just the how thats frustrating. </p>
