They basically gave away my parcel to someone who claimed to be my mom. No verification

I received a message this morning that my parcel will be delivered, but at 2pm, it hadn't been delivered. When I tried tracking it, it was marked as delivered.

The first thing I did was try to contact your company, but the calls did not go through. I even got an email address, which returned the email. I contacted OneDayOnly directly, querying this, who sent me a signature for Sinegugu by Sinegugu, but I had not signed for or received anything.

About 45 minutes later, my sister was called by my neighbour who said that she had my parcel. Fortunately. What's unfortunate is that we have a bell/intercom at home and it wasn't rung. There were 3 people in the house, it's impossible that we all wouldn't have heard it. I did not receive a call from the delivery person either. Instead, I am getting a call now that it has been resolved, from the driver, harassing me when HE DID NOT DELIVER TO ME!!

The house address is clearly on the gate but he says that he gave the parcel to someone who claimed to be my mom, who then supposedly drove up my driveway. Again, our address is clearly on the gate and that person he referred to did not go up that gate. That person told him that she is my mom, which she is not, and he willingly gave away my parcel.

It's very unprofessional to deliver to someone's parcel to a stranger without even verifying their ID. It could've been anyone. And had she not eventually given me the parcel, how would I have known that she had it??

If you really can't deliver, you cancel delivery and let the person know. Don't give away our stuff, especially without ID.

I'm absolutely appalled by this. It shows a lot of disrespect by you and your driver.
