Poor delivery service from Dpd laser/Dawn wing

What an awful delivery service from Dpd laser/Dawn wing. I have been expecting my parcel from Shein since Thursday and the driver assigned to deliver my parcel, Walter Lufuno Mulaudzi keeps on saying he has attempted to deliver to no avail. I called the contact centre and the lady told me that his van broke down yesterday and he might not deliver. I am not given an ETA. Yet the portal shows out for delivery. They are not allowed to give the driver's number. What kind of horrible service is. Shein could also do better at ensuring that the companies they assign to deliver our parcels to do their jobs!!!
