Parcel delivery

The courier guy who was delivering my parcel called and said I must fetch my parcel at the mall, I asked since since when do we receive our parcel at the mall instead of our addresses, he said companies differ. So why do we give out our address if we still have to travel far from our addresses to get the parcel? Very rude for someone who is working with people. Is this how you treat all your customers? Iam so not happy with your service.
