No communication. Unprofessional

My parcel was supposed to be delivered last Friday, but it never arrived. I had to follow up myself, only to be told the truck was delayed — with no communication or update sent to me at all. I requested that the manager call me back, but I never received a call. I phoned again today and was told it would be delivered before 6pm. I then asked for someone to phone me back with a time estimate — still no call. At 5pm I phoned again, and they told me they were “at the house.” Once again, nobody contacted me to say they were there, so how was I supposed to know?
