Most useless courier company

The worst courier company ever. Absolutely useless. Awaiting delivery of my Amazon package. Received an sms to say the parcel will be delivered on said day however in the evening I received another sms to say that there is insufficient information to deliver my package. The call center is pathetic. Waited 30 minutes to have my call answered and then had my call dropped when I required an explanation for failed delivery. I don't understand why a company as big as Amazon uses such a pathetic courier service. Is there any way we can avoid using this pathetic courier company
