Missing packages

If I could give zero stars I would, they took posession of my parcel 28th november, after struggling to get any information out of them for almost 3 weeks today I was told my parcel is missing they cannot find it. Most of the time I believe you are responded to by a bot.Yesterday I ordered from Edgars and almost cried when I saw they gave my package to dpd laser, dpd sent a message today stating my edgars parcel is out for delivery today...day is over nothing received so safe to assume that package also conveniently went missing most probably. Why do retailers use these people
