Dpd laser refusing to deliver

I ordered from shein on 15th of march my estimated delivery was within 8-12 working days by the 26th of march my package was handed over to Dpd laser on the 27th i called to inform them i am a student and will be going back to school (North west) since i choose the delivery address to be a Soweto where i was last week for our recess at home they scheduled my delivery for 28th of march which was not possible I waited till the 2nd of April because when i called they said they will deliver then. 2nd april comes i call they tell me they can’t deliver my parcel is still on the floor at the warehouse. Wednesday i called tried to explain to them i needed my package since i have to be travelling back to school they said to me i should wait for 5-15 working days for my delivery, i asked them politely to go collect it myself they said no I can’t collect they don’t allow that since they have thousands and thousands of packages on the floor😭.
