Dissatisfaction with delivery protocol

This company is a delivery service that has no clue what it is doing. I made an online purchase recently and received email notification for delivery. Instead of phoning me to inform me when exactly they would do so, someone phoned me whilst at my gate on Saturday afternoon expecting me to be home. He was rude and arrogant. I suggested he bring the goods to my location but he refused. He offered to do so on Monday, 05 Dec 2022, but could not confirm the time. His boss calls me that Monday morning and promises to call me well before delivery. However, at 12h20, when I am at work, I receive yet another call when someone is at my gate. No warning. No nothing. What do these delivery companies think we are - unemployed, home-all-the-time weasels?
