Disappointing and Contradictory Service from DPD

I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received from DPD Laser. A delivery scheduled for 11 April never arrived, and on 12 April I was informed that my parcel couldn't be delivered due to an "address error". This makes no sense, as just a few days earlier, another parcel from the same company was successfully delivered to the exact same address.

To make things worse, when I called the call center for clarity, I was told the parcel couldn’t be delivered because “no one was at home”. This is simply not true. Someone was at home the entire day, and more importantly, there is a guard stationed right outside my house who always accepts deliveries. No one attempted to call or even notify me when they were “supposedly” outside my home.

The contradictory feedback – first an “address error”, then “no one home” – is frustrating and unacceptable. Rather than sending misleading and inconsistent messages, DPD Laser should have just rescheduled the delivery like any responsible courier service would.
