*********** and non existent service delivery

One of the most inefficient and useless Courier companies I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I ordered items from Pick 'n Pay Clothing Stores. My parcel was shipped from the Pick 'n Pay Store on Friday 2024-12-02 and DPD Laser was designated as their Courier partner. The following morning I received a SMS notification from DPD Laser informing me of their intended delivery of my parcel to my home. However on perusal of the SMS I found that the Courier company had assigned a incorrect delivery address from the one I had indicated on the invoice from Pick 'n Pay Clothing stores. I had to utilize DPD Laser's weblink provided in SMS notification in order to correct the my delivery address and i proceeded to wait for my delivery the following day. Despite numerous telephonic calls to the Agents from DPD Laser I did not receive my parcel on that Tuesday and neither on Wednesday. I was informed that DPD Laser has a backlog of deliveries due to Black Friday and are unable to timeously complete all their deliveries on time. How is it possible that a so called prestigious company such as DPD Laser can not ensure that they have sufficient staff and resources on hand to ensure that they meet their delivery obligations? I would not recommend this company even if they where the last Courier company on earth. If I could I would actually rate DPD Laser as a 0 / 5 stars.
