Unfair Cancellation of Life Insurance Policy

On reviewing the policy, we were shocked to discover that Doves has cancelled my mother’s life cover and is now forcing her to take a burial policy — despite the fact that she already has one in place. This is unacceptable and feels like exploitation, especially considering she is a pensioner who has faithfully contributed to this policy over the years.

The local branch advised us to contact the underwriter.

The underwriter has not responded to our communication.

The sales agent and branch manager (names available upon request) are ignoring our emails.

No proper explanation, documentation, or alternative solution has been provided. My mother’s hard-earned pension contributions appear to have been lost without accountability or resolution. This is deeply distressing and *********.
