The most Heartless Treatment while in Mourning

In February my Father in Law passed away due to illness and Doves was called to take his mortal remains to be processed and cremated. What a painful process when that is al that you need. Firstly the wanted to charge the family R30000 for this, which is more than the rate prescribed by the National Funeral Directors of South Africa Association by about 40% and which was more than the general funeral Policy covers which is around R15000. And then they expect my mother in law to cough up the difference out of thin air which she didn't have at the time. And then once the management had been approached and the price had been brought into line with NFDSA Association rates then they wanted storage fees for the remains while you were faffing to get the Death Certificates from the Department of Home Affairs. And the amount that was paid by the Insurance only covered the Cremation. No Church booklets was printed for the funeral goers, Nothing was done more by them. Shame on you Dove's for putting families through such anguish when they are in mourning. I will personally not make use of your services even if you are the last only funeral directors service left in the world. Exploiting people when they are at their most vulnerable? Heartless, Absolutely Heartless! Hope that is the service you get in the time of bereavement
