STAY AWAY FROM THIS FUNERAL SERVICES

I'm extremely disappointed with Dove Funeral Cover's handling of my family's claim. After burying my grandfather, we continued the cover for my grandmother. But when she passed away, Dove told us they had changed the policy to 'one member only' and made my deceased grandfather the beneficiary! We tried to claim, but Dove said we needed a Letter of Authority, so we went to court. However, they told us we can't get it because our house value exceeds R250,000. Now we're told to go to Mafikeng High Court for a Letter of Executorship, which is another expense, and we need to hire a lawyer, adding to our costs. All this because of Dove's admin error. We even asked them to pay the funeral parlour directly instead of us, but no dice. We're now in debt to another funeral home for burying my grandmother. The R6,900 payout won't cover our costs. Dove's mistakes have caused massive stress and financial strain. Avoid Dove Funeral Cover - their mistakes will cost you.
