Policy details updated without our knowledge..

I had a shock in January.. when I went through to doves to check on the status of our policies... A) policy numbers have changed ; date of commencement no longer 2010 etc. we have never been advised of changes , nor received any news on such updates e.g. new policy statements etc ..B) Beneficiary details had been amended without my consent or my mother's.. Name, contact number and address totally different.. I am still mind boggled as how amendments were done without our consent.. it left a sour taste ..and made me realise how unsafe our policies are if unrelated third party is able to do changes on our policies .. Pinetown doves office helped with the corrections of these policies.. but am still to see the final printouts.. Now we need to periodically check these policies, cause now I can't trust that these details will remain as is..
