Doves are real *******

Good day my grandmother had a policy with union life (underwritten by DOVES)since 2013. In August 2020 I phoned to see if everything was in order with her policy. I was ensured that everything was in order. My gran passed away Desember 2020. When I phoned for the claim the consultant told me the policy was paid up until February 2021. When the claim form was submitted it was declined with the reason that the policy has lapsed. When I phoned the consultant said it was a mistake because the policy lapsed in 2019. I told them that I was paid up until February 2021,the consultant told us that is manager would reinstate the policy and then payment would follow. However when I followed up I was informed that the policy lapsed in December 2020 even when a payment of R600 was made earlier in December. According them I made short payments thats why. I informed them in writing I didn’t receive any letters or phone calls about increased premiums. The last communication received was a letter in 2016.

After this was said letters was emailed that was back dated to 2018. Each and every time their story changes. Doves are real *******. I will expose them to the ombudsman. I will never in my life take a policy with them or any company that they underwrite.
