Douglasdale Dairy Cream Unwhippable

My wife bought 250 ml Fresh Cream from Checkers at Leaping Frog yesterday 4/3/2019 (marked BB 15 MAR 19). When she got home she tried to whip it for scones for a tea party. It would not thicken and eventually turned to butter. She phoned theDougladale helpline, and the receptionist said she would put her through, and it rang then cut off. My wife phoned back, told the receptionist that it had cut off. The receptionist said it wasn't her fault and put her through again when again it rang and cut off. On the third call there was a message that the number wasn't working. I then had to rush off at the last minute to buy another brand, which whipped perfectly. We now have two reasons to avoid Douglasdale Dairy.
