DOUBLE QUICK PROPERTIES 206 ARE A **** AND WON'T PAY YOUR DEPOSIT BACK

In June 2021 I moved in one of the framework properties which later was under DOUBLE QUICK PROPERTIES 206 in Jhb- cbd the building name is 133 President place in small street. Everything went well until I served a 1 month notice .3 weeks later after moving out as I asked for my deposit back the building manager by the name of Eli Ovadia a very rude and arrogant guy who refused to pay back my deposit instead, he told me I owe them R2000 for painting my walls. I was surprised that how can the painting of walls cost almost R3200 of the deposit I paid prior I moved in. He therefore went as far as insulting me and asking me to stop calling him, I never missed a single payment of rent during my 3 years stay in that building. All I need is assistant on getting the remaining balance of my deposit or else am taking this matter further, the communication is very poor and when you are asking questions, he hangs up my calls. My Question is are they not supposed to repaint their flats when someone moves out for someone new to find the place in order. I wouldn't encourage anyone to move in that building as the management is utter rude and when asking for your deposit back there's stories.
