AVOID BUYING FROM DOUBLE-CLICK KEMPTON PARK!

I am writing to share a concerning experience I had with Double Click Furniture in Kempton Park, which I hope will serve as a caution to others.

On September 25, 2023, I purchased two identical 1-seater couches, expecting delivery within the 14-working-day timeframe promised by the store, which would be October 13, 2023. However, that day came and went without any update from the store. When I called at 15:00, I was initially told my order wasn't ready, and only after expressing my frustration was I assured of delivery within the next hour — a commitment that was, at least, fulfilled.

The relief of receiving my couches was short-lived. Upon unwrapping them, I discovered they were different colors and not what I had ordered, and one appeared to be used — completely unacceptable as I had paid for new items. The store manager, Cleon, acknowledged the mistake the following day and promised a resolution within the week.

Despite Cleon's promise, there was no follow-up. I had to initiate all communication, which was met with delays and excuses. Cleon’s responses were dismissive, and she even imp**** the error was due to confusion on my part, despite the clear invoice (I would understand if the colours were at least the same)

After a frustrating back-and-forth and unfulfilled promises, I requested a refund on October 23, 2023. I was assured this process would take seven days and that the incorrect couches would be collected the next day. Again, no collection or communication occurred, and when I inquired on November 1, 2023, I learned my refund hadn't even been processed.

Moreover, the store claimed a collection attempt was made on a Saturday without prior notice to me, which led to further delays. It's now apparent that Double Click Furniture does not prioritize customer satisfaction, nor do they respect their own policies or the time and expectations of their customers.

I strongly advise potential shoppers to consider other options for their furniture needs. The lack of professionalism and accountability from Double Click Furniture has been staggering, and I urge you to take your business elsewhere.
