Unsure pet insurance...
1 Star because I can`t give a Zero star rating...
After paying for 2 years, I was told I cannot claim because I apparently misunderstood the policy wording.
The policy states “Accidental injuries and illness,” but what they don’t make clear upfront is that the illness part only applies if it is related to an accidental injury. On top of that, medication is apparently only covered if it is prescribed by a vet specifically for accidental injuries, not medication prescribed for illness.
After paying for 2 years and then being told this when trying to claim is extremely disappointing.
My advice to anyone considering Dotsure: don’t assume you understand the policy wording. Call them and make them clearly explain exactly what is covered and what is not before signing up.
I have now cancelled my policy.
