Unresolved Claim After Over a Year – Seeking Urgent Attention

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the handling of my car insurance claim with dotsure. It has been over a year since I filed the claim following my car accident, and despite numerous attempts to communicate with the assigned representative, my car remains unrepaired, and my matter unresolved.

Repeated calls to the representative often result in a "line busy" message, and on the rare occasions when contact was made, I was met with empty promises of callbacks and updates that never materialized. The most recent communication involved a confusing message stating an attempted return call that never happened.

Furthermore, there has been a lack of transparency and consistency regarding the repair costs. An initial quote was provided that suspiciously fell below my excess amount, yet a subsequent quote from a panel beater was significantly higher, indicating a potential oversight or misjudgment of the damage.

To add to the confusion, I was penalized with an additional charge for not having a tracking device installed, a requirement that was not clearly communicated to me at the outset. The representative promised to review call logs to clarify this matter, but there has been no follow-up.

The lack of accountability and professionalism displayed by dotsure in handling my claim is unacceptable and has left me in a prolonged state of limbo regarding my vehicle's repair. This experience has not only caused me significant inconvenience but also shaken my trust in dotsure.

I am making this situation public in the hope that it will prompt dotsure to take the necessary actions to rectify this situation promptly. I have no other choice as to sue them. Please never make use of this insurance!!!

I appreciate your prompt response, but I must admit, this feels like déjà vu. The cycle of being passed from one department to another without any definitive action has been my experience for over a year now. I am genuinely fed up with the lack of progress and the repetitive assurances that lead nowhere.

I am expecting not just another investigation, but actual results and a concrete timeline for when my car will be repaired. This situation has gone on for far too long, and I am not willing to accept further delays or excuses.

Please understand that my patience has reached its limit. I trust that you will treat this matter with the urgency and seriousness it deserves and provide a satisfactory resolution promptly.

Thanks,
Gavin
