Unreal
Ive never in my life heard of an excess of R 40 000 but I got one while my claim payout is R51k, now the claim is being reviewed.

We confirm that on the 05 October 2018 you lodged a claim with the insurer following an incident which occurred on the same day. The details of the claim were verified in line with the terms and conditions of your policy.
The damages to your vehicle were assessed and the applicable excess was in accordance with the excess structure you agreed to during the voice proposal. We further confirm that the said excess structure is also stipulated in your policy schedule which has been sent to you throughout the life of the policy.
