Terrible service

On the 13th of December, I submitted my claim for the excess I paid for my vehicle. The reference for my claim is EXSA***. I submitted through a PPC consultant from African Independent Brokers, who sold me this excess cover insurance.

I sent the authorisation for the claim, as sent by my the insurance broker who was handling my claim. The document has all the information that I was told was needed to claim for my excess; the details of the accident, what the repairs would cost including how much I would pay for the excess. I sent all the proof( authorisation of the claim, invoice from the panel beaters, and a slip from the payment I made on the day I collected the car.

The consultant from African Independent Brokers called me last week, to tell me that all was in order and that the payment would reflect in 3 working days.

I was informed today that the payment was reversed after waiting for so long, because I am told the proof is not sufficient. The claim authorisation document that I sent has all the information that they are now saying they still need, which is the date of the accident, the vehicle description, and the cost of the repairs minus the excess.

I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with this service, as I have been paying my premium diligently, and now I am struggling to get what I have been paying for. All I am getting are delay tactics and just being sent from pillar to post.
