Terrible experience submitting a claim
dotsure must get a better understanding of its client base and stop using the same standard to measure all its clients. I will suggest that it gets a branch in FS to understand the situation of the province and stop having your agents talk about "normal procedure". What is normal in GP or CT is not normal in FS and this is a fact. Most homes in FS use prepaid services and do not receive statements for water and electricity from the municipality. If having municipal statement was a precondition, why was dotsure not upfront about this before I took the cover? What other preconditions will one get to know of when attempting to claim? If the claim won't go through, why not just say it instead of bringing up things that are not relevant to me as an individual? We live in towns run by different municipalities in different ways. From the interaction I had with one agent today, it tells me that insurance companies are quick to quote and claim to offer services when in fact they know nothing about the client's real situation, one is classified and measured according to a set of double standards. What fits one person will never be relevant to another person of the same age, race etc. dotsure as a company that has no idea of the situation of the clients it claims to insure. dotsure must just be upfront and transparent about its "this is what we normally require to process your claim" conditions and give a person an option to decide on a cover based on honesty. since when is there a municipal statement for prepaid services, how this is normal when towns differ so much? On a call with the agent today, she keeps talking about a municipal statement when I keep referring to prepaid services. It is not possible to enforce a specific condition to suit insurance requirements when that condition is irrelevant to one "client", I ended up dropping the phone in her ear because I will not allow someone to request and push for information from me that is nonexistent in my situation. Also, I do not work for the municipality, and I do not know what business they use to sell prepaid tokens, all I know is from which vendors one can buy water or electricity, and in my case, I mostly use banking platforms. I received an email that I should submit outstanding documents which were sent through to u2us and what is amazing is that from the same email I received a call from an agent logging a ticket and a call from a different agent to register the ticket - this is the agent who I abruptly ended her call because of the municipal statement issue, I felt like her questions were demeaning. There is a way to ask questions and address people that will not make a person feel small. dotsure must train its agents how to address clients of all races. Based on my experience with dotsure and the second agent today, I have concluded that I was spoken to in such a manner because of my race.
