SUZU***
My vehicle was placed at Ispray Autobody for the accident repair, after two weeks I was then informed to pick it up from the p/b, literally after 5 minutes driving the vehicle I could tell something was wrong there was a very heavy vibration coming from the vehicle while driving, which happens now and then. I then went back to the p/b and told them. They said I should go home with it and if it continues to do so I should bring it back, which I did. After a week they called me to come and collect it, I was then told that they couldn't identify what the problem was or could be, when I returned the vehicle I made sure that the mechanic drove the vehicle himself so he could feel and hear what I was talking about, which he confirmed. He then said I can take the vehicle to the dealership so they can be able to identify what the problem is. I then informed Dotsure of the current situation faced and I was told the assessor will contact me since on Friday the 08th at 11:35 until now no one has gotten back to me about a way forward. I contacted Suzuki on Rivonia as they are the closest to where I work and explained to them about the vehicle, they told me they are more than happy to assist me however before they can diagnose what the issue could be an upfront R1000.00 must be paid. I informed the insurance but still there is no feedback. I spray Autobody did a great job on the outside of the vehicle but my concern is that after the incident the inside of vehicle is not the same and the problem couldn't be identified and fixed.
I reported back to the insurance about all of this situation then Keith the assessor says my vehicle is a 2020 model, I don't know what is that suppose to mean and he further said it could be a wear and tear, like how is that possible as this is a accident related matter before the accident my vehicle was in good condition, service record is UpToDate and only R128800km. He says I will be liable for that. Cheap ****** Hey!!!
I took back the vehicle yesterday (midday) and they said they will book it in for today at Suzuki I called to follow up but no vehicle is booked in then they say there is no slot available only next week Tuesday, I called the dealership and there is a slot available for tomorrow in Bryanston, since they stated this is thee only dealership they have an account with. Now the insurance calls me back and they say the vehicle will be taken to Suzuki at the Glen. WOW!!!
Dotsure and Ispray Autobody are taking me for a Ride. I want my car in the condition that it was before the accident, I pay this insurance on a monthly basis with no fail they are liable and responsible for my vehicle and they are supposed to get the best p/b to do the job. I cannot drive that vehicle in that condition I do not feel safe.
