Stay away at all costs ****erally), rather go to Outsurance

I am not posting this review expecting a response from Dotsure, not their strong suit, but rather as a warning to others who use Hello Peter to gauge how good a companies service is. I took out insurance 10 years ago for my 2 furry kids, mainly because they are GSD and Golden Retriever and hip dysplasia is common. I have paid in excess of R100k and NEVER claimed over the years, paying all vet bills myself. The dreaded time came and my GSD needed an MRI costing around R15k, Dotsure covered.......R1.3k, the cost of my monthly payment. I have obviously cancelled my insurance with them which took 5 weeks, after Dotsure taking another month's payment. Please stay away from them and their BOT claims process. My initial insurance was with Hollard where my pups were covered for these conditions, but unfortunately Dotsure took over their pet insurance. Don't let the positive reviews fool you, if you read through them, the majority are related to the quick sign up process, obviously by the aforementioned BOT
