Refusal to settle claim
My claim for the replacement of water pump & wheel bearings were right-forth rejected, yet, the following are terms & conditions with which I wholly deserve to be considered for settlement, particularly item (d): a. We will not consider any claims for wear and tear during the first six months after the cover start date. b. After this time, we may consider claims for reasonable wear and tear of a part based on the specific circumstances of the claim. c. We will decide if the reason for the part’s repair or replacement is in fact because of wear and tear, and also whether that part actually needs to be repaired or replaced. d. If we decide to pay a claim, we will pay the cost of the repair or replacement of the part, up to a maximum of 50% of the limit per benefit, as set out in the policy schedule.
I've had two claims previously in which component fatigue, wear & tear were cited in mechanical failure reports. Why the inconsistencies now?
I remain very aggrieved
