Rediquliuos pay out towards Euthanasia

Very disappointed, my beautiful Newfoundland has to put to sleep, after consulting with the vet the decision was made. He was on the highest scheme available as well as top up and yet only R180 was paid out for a vet bill of almost R2000. Yes we new that R180 was what we would get for the Euthanasia but what about the vet consultation. Totally unacceptable. After canceling our policy for our other Newfoundland a consultant called to quiry why and I told her. She was rude and pushy insisting and running down the opposition that they don't offer 3rd party over. I didn't join for 3rd party cover I joined for medical cover and just because my fury child's life is ended and no more money will be made from him, does not mean the consultation that lead to this decision should not be covered. She also insisted that the oppositions excess would be much higher, well here's a fact in one instance we had to pay a few thousand towards 2 other claims.
