Really bad experience. Bad and unfair service

Really really bad service ☹ ... i had the insurance for 5 months and was involved in an accident. It was clearly not my fault standing in traffic and being knocked from behind by a speeding drunk driver. First bad experience trying to report the accident and getting a tow truck. 2nd bad experience they do not ask what panel shop the car should go to. 3rd waiting a week for the assessor to advise claim being rejected for the car being sideswiped- meaning they are now adding additional eccesses to the claim without being informed of at the time of the insurance agreement nor through the whole process of the claim. This is really unfair for a excess for a claim to amount to R48000. This is almost half the market value of my car. 4th bad experience is trying to log a complaint. Always being promised callbacks but never received. Spoke to an assistant manager in claims dept and still no assistance. I have now being in contact with the ombudsman and just hope to get this resolved... really bad service and unfair!

Wow, really really appalling service!!! i am still waiting on a callback for 3 weeks. I have to follow up or try to but keep getting passed from advisor to advisor after being asked to speak to their legal department, complaints department or claims manager. It is really not fair being on hold for 20+ minutes and just being cut off. I just want my issue to be sorted.

There even more issues - My car was towed from the accident scene to the panel shop in Woodstock (Cape Town) getting further damaged and scratched, not returning the tow hook - which I still do not have now.

I was also invoiced by this panel shop who I have not advised the car should be towed to, for a quotation fee before the car may be released.

This is really costing me more to now pay the panel shop, get my own tow vehicle and constantly making calls whereby no one can help or just provide an update.

This is really not good for a customer who is paying you R1300 every month.
I have asked for the insurance to be cancelled on call 29/11 and was advised someone in the retention would make contact - still none received.

Now being told my premium will still be deducted.

PLEASE JUST CALL ME ATLEAST EVEN IF YOU JUST ADVISE SOMEONE IS LOOKING INTO YOUR CASE.
