Pathetic service received from verifications person at Dotsure

Good day, I recently put through a claim through Dotsure insurance. The service that I received left me in disbelief. My friend uses my vehicle often, he was hijacked on the early hours of 6th March 2022. The vehicle was recovered within an hour, however had quiet a bit of damages. I submitted an official claim on Saturday, 12th March 2022. The person who is currently dealing with my case is Maritzka, she is in the verifications team. She has been calling both me, and the person who was driving the vehicle and basically harassing us. I don’t know what the process is with Dotsure, however from my understanding, the suspects should be the ones who should be harassed and not the victims. My friend who was driving the vehicle, is being forced to relive that horrific night over and over again. It’s obvious that Maritzka hasn’t been hijacked before, or else she would not do what she is currently doing. This claim / case should be handled with sensitivity instead of blatant disregard. I spoke to Maritzka yesterday, she was very abrupt and kept on asking me questions like “Was I using the vehicle for Uber/Bolt?”, “Why did I ask for a quote for Business insurance with Budget Insurance?”, “Why do I use my vehicle so much/make so many trips to the nearby mall?”, “Why do you have a double disc?”. Firstly, I have an open driver policy, this was done my vehicles are driven by myself, my wife, my friend, my family when they arrive from Johannesburg. This is all for personal use and not business. My friend, who was driving the vehicle when it was hijacked, doesn’t have a PDP. My understanding is that an Uber/Bolt representative needs to have a PDP. The vehicle that was hijacked (Suzuki Dzire) is not registered on Uber/Bolt. I called Budget last year for a quote for business insurance as I was looking at going into the Uber/Bolt business, the business insurance was too expensive, so I changed my mind. I also could not find a driver with the Uber/Bolt app so I cancelled that business plan. Lastly, why am I being questioned on where I was driving and how often? My insurance states nothing about driving less / mileage. Besides, who wants to purchase a vehicle that can’t be driven? I really do not appreciate being called and spoken like I am a ********. I have had vehicle insurance for more than 8 years, this is the first time I am claiming, does this behavior sound like a ********? Maritzka, I would prefer that you keep your bad attitude for suspects, which I am definitely not. Hoping that my claim is dealt with sooner and this ordeal is over! Thanks
