Only One Claim Per Condition Per Year

I am very sad to have to write this review, as I have been happy in the past with Dotsure Pet Insurance, but I feel the need to warn people of the amount of limitations Dotsure will put on your policy.

You will have Sublimits per claim (which is fine), but what they dont tell you, is that when you claim again for the same tipe of condition (lets say ear infection) they will treat it as part of your first claim, and if you have reached your limit for the first claim, they wont cover in the next.

So for instance, on my policy I have medication limit of R595 per claim. I used that for my first claim of an ear infection for my dog. And afterwards I was told for that condition my pet insurance is now exhausted.

So should my pet have another ear infection in the year ahead, he wont be covered.

So if your dog requires ongoing treatment for a lingering condition, you are out of luck.

Diabetes? Only one claim allowed per year. So you will be left without any assistance.

Be careful with Dotsure, and sublimits.
