Notsure

I took out a warranty policy on my vehicle 3 months ago, all premiums paid to date and expecting no concerns. On the 2nd of July, I had an incident whereby my vehicle had a mechanical failure on the brakes which I then reported and had repair quotations sent as per the request received from Dotsure. It took Dotsure an estimated 6 days to revert back where an arrogant consultant phoned me and informed me that I will need to take my vehicle to an RMI approved dealer for a repair quotation after I already had my car at a qualified mechanical outlet for a repair quotation. With this, I asked the consultant if Dotsure will cover the assessment cost in the event should Dotsure then reject the repair quotation from Bosh services to which the consultant could not provide me with an answer and said that I need to read my policy in that regard. I informed the consultant that I have not yet received my policy to date and asked him how am I to know what is covered and what not. The consultant was obviously not acting on my best interest but in fact to just get rid of me due to his voice tone and the way he treated me. I informed this consultant that it seems as if Dotsure is now having double standards in that the consultant with whom I have spoken during the time when the policy was opened up advised me differently regarding the RMI requirement as well as the procedure thereto and got a cold shoulder from this consultant. I also noticed that the claim was abruptly canceled on the portal with no explanation except for stating that I will receive an email with detail thereto. Well, unfortunately, I have still not yet received any email in this regard.

Poor and unreliable service with the aim of not helping a client with a breakdown situation. I will not recommend this supplier and suggest that people wanting to take out an alternative warranty on their vehicle or mechanical warranty to rather look elsewhere.
