Nothing on contract that says I cannot get my premiums back

I took a warranty policy with Dotsure on 1st September 2023.for a sum of 730.00 a month a lady called Sazikazi kept on calling me and I told her was not ready as financial were tight.Okay I finally took the warranty cover.so this month as of 3rd of April I write them an email that I need to cancel my policy due to financial strain.they were happy to do so but they say,We cannot refund you your premiums of R5110,I ask them even if it is half of It because there is nothing on my contract that stipulates,due to my cancellation I cannot get my premiums back.
