Not getting the help I need

I consider DotSure/Oakhurst one of the top rated insurance company in South Africa. I have gotten the best service out of all the insurance companies I have used before. However, most recently, I have been strung around regarding my last claim that I had an issue into how it was/is being handles. The claim was underestimated, and there are two components that still need to me replaced in the car, that have not been working since I got the car back.

The interior light of my car, as well as the bluetooth handsfree kit were not replaced after they were damaged in the accident I was involved in and they have not been working ever since. The panelbeater that was assigned with the job has initially quoted what I later found to be the right amount but the assesor decided that he will put a lower amount, thus they did not get and fix that part of the damage.

I then went on to find out from the agents about this part, and got a quote for it. Leander took over the case, and even after supplying him with all the necessary information, he has not gotten back to me. I am finding myself having to be the one who is constantly following up with him. There is never an initiative from his part to give me any information. I have had to leave work early to get him even the drawing of the part from the agent to try and get this sorted out, but there has not been any action taken in this regards. I am not tired of chasing after him, and feel that maybe this platform will get me a better person to deal with this issue here.

Not fixing this damage has resulted in not being able to use the handsfree kit in the car for sometime now, and this is a bit dangerous for me, let alone the inconvenience of needing to take out my cellphone flats when I need light in the car.

There has to be better car into addressing customer issues, and I am not getting this from Leander.

There is one other thing that I need to put forward here. It would seem all the work has been shifted to me, and I am afraid that I would be put in a position to foot the bill for the labour (if I ever get to have this part), whereas the problem was with the initial assessor who was in too much of a hurry to take care of my case completely. and make sure that he gets the right things.

I need this to be addressed.

HI

I am writing again because there has not been any movement regarding this. I have contacted the initial person who handled the dispute today, and hoping that he will move on this.

This is greatly disappointing!!!!!
