Niglegent Debit Order, Poor Service

When I joined Dotsure in 2016, they assigned an agent to look after my portfolio but every time I have a query Amore Barnad takes more than 2 days to reply to my emails and when I call they tell me she will call me back which she also takes long.

According to the contract I signed with them is that my debit date will be on 21st of every month, because I get paid on the 20th just to avaoid debits returting due to the insufficient funds, in May they debited my account on the 19th, it returned due to not having enough money, I was charged R100 by my bank, I complained they said they can't refund me that amount, the resolution was supposed to be a new debit date which is the 25th of every month, which I agreed, on the 23rd they ran another debit, a wrong amount at that, when I asked them they said they are charging me R50 extra because it was late, why was that not in my contract????

i cancelled it, now I just recieved a cancellation letter stating that the cancellation is effective on 31 May 2017, HOW??? so I was covered for 7 days??? this is so *****

I wish no one I care about never takes their insurance, they are ****** who ****** money from desperate client, I regret the day i joined them, PATHETIC and UNPROFESSIONAL

Dear Miss. Ntshulana

We confirm that you were advised during the voice proposal as follows and same is stated on page 2 of your policy schedule.

“It is your responsibility to ensure that there are available funds in your account and that your premium is paid when we submit the debit order. To assist you in making sure that your premiums are paid, we may debit on different dates if we don't collect on your chosen date. We may also debit you on the last working day before your debit date should it fall on a weekend or public holiday.”

Your chosen debit date for the month of May 2017 was on Sunday and as per the above, you were debited on the last working day which was on Friday the 19th of May 2017. The re-debit on the 23rd of May 2017 was due to the unsuccessful debit order on the 19th of May 2017.

We apologise for the misunderstanding and trust you find the above in order.

Regards
