Frustrating Claims Process and Lack of Communication

I’m writing this review to warn others about my incredibly disappointing experience with Dot Sure. After reading countless reviews, it seems like frustrating claimants into giving up is their strategy, and unfortunately, I’m now living that reality.

Dot Sure prided itself on the fact that even if your claim is approved it might not be covered 100%, but how can that be a selling point when getting the claim approved is a battle in itself? How is this something they want to be known for? It’s disheartening.

To make things worse, two reputable panel beaters turned me away the moment they discovered my claim is with Dot Sure. They refused to help, saying they no longer work with Dot Sure clients because of ongoing issues with payment. Is Dot Sure’s entire business model built around doing whatever it takes to avoid fulfilling their promises, all while giving the illusion of coverage?

The investigation into my straightforward collision is taking 60 days, with no updates and no explanation. How does that make sense when all parties have submitted the same statements? I have received zero communication from Dot Sure, and I am left wondering where the hold-up is. After this, I’m expected to wait for another 60 days—why?

If you’re considering Dot Sure, be prepared for frustration, lack of communication, and the feeling that you're fighting a losing battle. I wouldn’t recommend this insurer to anyone based on my experience. Maybe if my car was a pet?

Reviewer Update
I haven't seen a single review with someone talking about a great experience claiming and getting everything sorted on time. ALL the great reviews are upon signing up or about dogs and cats. This is jarring.
