False advertising made to not pay claims

I took up car insurance with dotsure based on the gimmick of deciding how much I wish to pay and be covered for. And also that I would be given the cover amount to fix my car myself. had an accident and sent through the claim, surprisingly the cost of repairs according to Dotsure was over my cover amount so they won't pay anything. This was also news as I expected that in such an event, I would be given the amount am covered for and the difference, if any would be for my own costs. But it wasn't as such. Then I sent Two quotes for the repairs to Dotsure, quotes that were below my maximum cover amount. I sent these quotes because I didn't believe that the damage was over the covered amount. I sent emails complaining about it and I was encouraged to send my own quotes. I sent the quotes, they were received and I was promised feedback. That was last year and am still waiting. This is how little this company thinks about customers and disregard the financial sacrifice we take when we take insurance policies. And not having the decency to get back to me after I took time to get these quotations, is appalling. This was just an excuse not to pay for my claim. Also it's so obvious that they didn't even get quotes for the repairs because if they did they would have done them in places closer to where I live which is where I would have been able to send my car for repairs, but rejecting the claim and squandering my payments was always their goal.
