Dotsure Processes Unauthorised Debit Order

The pet insurance policy was cancelled on 23 August 2024 with effective date 31 August 2024. I checked on their website about policy cancellation as it was not specified in the policy documents. According to the website, a policy could be cancelled and a refund requested for premiums paid relating to the period after cancellation. Therefore, notice to end the policy was given.

Dotsure sent an e-mail requesting a call to me to cancel the policy, I refused this as I have stated many times, all correspondence are to be done via e-mail (when you've been burnt before, you look out for YOURSELF). Phone call recordings miraculously disappear when they are needed to substantiate the client's case. therefor NO phone calls. This was also noted in numerous e-mail correspondence with them as well as calls received (requested to e-mail me as I will not be discussing via call).

On 30 August 2024, Dotsure processed an unauthorised debit order on my account for the September 2024 premium.

Please stay away from Dotsure. Their premiums are also very expensive with limited cover. For almost the same amount, I get much better cover for my pets from their new ensurer.
