If you looking for pet Insurance for your pet… STAY AWAY from DOTSURE. They sell themselves as one of the best pet insurance and they pay back so quick and they post all the lovely reviews on their website.

We had the second highest plan for our dog with an R82,000 annual limit. We have not claimed a cent from that limit for the past 3 years. Our poor dog has an injury and needed an MRI and an operation. For context a standard MRI coast c. R15,000 - R25,000. The operation can cost anything up to R40,000. Now the second highest plan which covers an annual limit of R82,000, the lovely dotsure which is “so good” will only cover R1,250 for the MRI and only R8,000 of the operation. In fact less than that because we still need to pay an excess of 10%. Meaning on their second highest cover they are only covering 14% of the total cost and only allowing us to use R9,250 of an unused annual limit of R82,000. Then they say but they have other cover which will Provide more cover but your premium goes from around R600/month to over R3,000 per month suddenly.

So please don’t be fooled by their marketing. STAY AWAY. have a look at some reviews not published on their website and you will see the same thing.

You can get much better cover at other pet insurance providers. Please don’t make the same mistake we did in falling for their false marketing. Don’t be fooled by their “annual limit”.
