Dotsure pain

I gave them one star only because of their professional attitude to deceive. I take out a policy for my dog with them. I was reminded everything is recorded and binding, and we agree. My dog get sick and the nightmare started. On the recording i was told that if youre dog get sick or injured you just take it to the vet pay your excess fee, dog get treated, then you email the bill to them. First of all it dont work like that, the vet wants all his money upfront and then fill a claim form for you. I call a lot of vet's near me, they all say the same thing. The amounts they demanded was astronomical, i took the dog after a couple of days after getting someone to borrow me money. The dog was assisted and treated. The pet insurance contact me and demand clinical records of the dog, which was not ask fir to when i signed up. I already knew then, they won't pay. I only have a accident plan, which include treatment of the dog if he eats foreign objects. I had a heated argument with one of their colleagues, i told her why do you lie to me in the first place with reference to the way they operate, if their is vets that only take access fee, she must give me a list, of those near me, she couldnt and rather claim theyre not a medical aid, i must read my policy. They call me again and ask if the dog ate a foreign object, i told them i dont know, i could have **** just to get my money back, i dont see any need for that, it seems i must gaurd the dog for twenty four hours, what a joke. I must add i see the recommendations for dotsure on hellopeter and was happy, thats why i instruct my wife to put the car and dogs insurance under them. What a disappointment. This company is clearly for those people who had a 2000.00 rand lying around at any time. Not for everyone.end of story is they call my vet and ask him about the dog, and accirding to the consultant dig had fever, they assume its illness. I left her with one question,dont you think it could happen that the dog ate something that cause a blockage, cause him to get sick and not eating anymore. During this time the blockage was released and the fever remains, at the time i got money to take him to a vet, all reasons for you not to pay will be examined, that i know. i will never use their services ever sgain, , im not rich enough.
