Dotsure - Over a month later and car still at panel beaters

Worst experience ever...over a month later and my car is still at the panel beaters. From putting in the claim around 15 April, Ms Dinyani asked me to send images of the damage which I did, the lady called and asked for more pics that were not in the first email. Then I was told as soon as the workshop has space my car will be booked in. On 03 May my claim was approved and the panel beater confirmed. The photos I took were used to asses the damage and I believe no one physically checked the damage (office is in Cape Town) When I dropped the car at the panel beaters I wrote on the form that the wheel alignment on the car was not right and should be checked. Ms Dinyani told me that was not quoted and would be to my account. I sent an email and someone called to confirm that this is covered by the insurance. * 06 May I got an SMS that 'they are still waiting for parts' and * 12 May 'the car was in the panel beaters. * 14 May 'in paint preparation * 17 May ''in line for painting *20 May 'car being assembled *21 May 'car being polished *24 May 'car in wash bay and awaiting final inspection - I called Dotsure and Cathy confirmed that the car would be ready later that day. I left work early in Centurion to collect the car before they close. When I got to the workshop I was told the car was not ready as the picked up that the alignment is not right (which I highlighted when I dropped the car) and need to inform Dotsure, so they can process the claim for these parts then order and deliver to the workshop. That was on Monday 24 May. I called today 31 May and the parts were all going to be delivered on 01 June and car 'might be ready on Wednesday 02 June :( Back to the taxi rank for me

I have claimed accident damage and it has never taken this long with staff being the cause of the delay.

I am currently shopping and will most definitely switch...If you want bad service, public transport for over a month go to Dotsure
