Dotsure - Lies, damned lies and statistics.

I will soon be cancelling my policy, and I hope many, many people read this review.

DO NOT accept from this mediocre, pathetic corporate business that "customer satisfaction " is their top priority. This is absolute horse **** and a lie. It is an insurance company who regard actuaries and statisticians as Gods to ensure their fund remains strong and write off the few individuals who have genuine grievances as a small percentage so who gives a **** about them.

Reading other reviesw, I am not the only one who was alarmed that only R450 is covered for sterilization, seeing as almost every vet charges 3 to 4 times the amount of what's covered. Which would be fine, however conveniently, even though you pay for it as part of your policy - won't cover any hospitalization or medicine.

Also, make sure that, even during times of Covid, risk other people's lives by taking your beloved pet to the vet on two separate days to get his sterilization and vaccinations instead of the same day, as you will NOT be reimbursed for the two separate procedures.

Of course, when you submit official disputes about this, they revert back your policy and remain adamant that that they are in the right, because corporate ego must ALWAYS be correct, and like I mentioned, write off those few customers who have genuine grievances.

I am so, SO happy to cancel my policy, and move to a competitor. One day, this company may learn that it costs up to 25x the money to get new customers as opposed to keeping them, which is understandable now why they flooded the media with marketing. Evidently, people are cancelling their policies for their very **** attitude.
