Dotsure - inconsistent when it comes to payouts!

Dotsure paid out 50% of a claim I submitted for my one dog - after firstly trying to get out of it by saying it was a Pre-existing condition. When my vet surgeon letter proved it wasn't, they eventually paid out - 3 months later. My other dog had THE EXACT IDENTICAL surgery in October of the same year and once the claim was submitted, Dotsure rejected it saying it was a Hereditary condition (this time not Pre-existing which is what they claimed with the first dog - so they changed the reason why they wouldn't pay out). If you have paid for one dog, you should have paid for the other dog as changing the reason is not acceptable and extremely poor form on Dotsure's behalf. What's good for one dog should apply to the other. Shame on you, Dotsure. You can expect 1 less Client because of this - and the fact that I referred other people to you who signed up as well - these people will also be advised to move to another Pet Insurance as your claims process is not consistent or fair. I have been left with such a bad taste in my mouth - especially when your adverts promise the world to potential clients.
