Dotsure does not adhere to FAIS and TCF

On the 27 February my husband which resulted in the vehicle badly damaged. Because this was my first claim experience I did not want to complain about the delays in the claim. Three weeks later I received a claim outcome and I was advised that the claim was repudiated. The claims handler advised me that my husband was not properly insured because he use of the vehicle was business and when we took the cover were said it was for personal use. I disagree with the outcome of the claim because I was not properly advise on what is business and personal use. My impression of business use is for someone that uses the car to run their business but with my husband his job require him to work on different locations daily and I feel that the agent was knowledgeable enough to advise on the two differences. On the 22nd March I requested that you provide me with the sales recording so that I could satisfy myself with what was discussed on the sales call. Today is the 28th April more than a month later and I have not received the recordings. I thought FAIS made provisions that calls should be made available to the requesting party in 7 days from the day they were request however its been a month now. I was not even advised about the prejudice that was caused by the vehicle been insured for personal use instead of business. I will be exercising my right of approaching the ombudsman however I need you to provide me with the requested details. I would like my claim to be reviewed in its entity and please note that I was only provided the policy schedule recently because when I bought the vehicle the details were sent to the dealer. As your customer I feel you service is of a poor standard and it does not center around servicing the customer. Please take this as an official dispute to my claim and I eagerly await your feedback.
