Dotsure - Disappointed with service!!

I must say I am very disappointed with Dotsure

"Superior plan" (not sure why you call that plan

your best option, very misleading).

My staffie had a accident (all 3 my dogs are on

the Superior plan), Duke ruptured a disc and had

to have a emergency MRI and back surgery, he

speny=t 8 days in hospital and my total bill was

almost R30K. I was only paid our R9400, 4 days

later after I settled the entire Vet's bill

myself....Many of the procedures that were done

were not deducted from benefits available on the

plan in other area's.

After the operation I spoke to one of the

consultants about the Rehab sessions (Hydro

therapy and physio) and going forward after

operation and she said no problem, we will be able

to help you with that. After I submitted my 6

sessions of rehab, the feedback was sorry your

plan is exhausted for the year, so my total cost

so far has been R33K and only received R9400 paid

back from Dotsure, although I have a total overall

policy limit for Duke of R50K + per year......

Your really expect people that care and make you

feel secure in a situation like this, that is why

you have a plan in place for your fur kids, but

this really made me doubt you and that it all

about what you can get out and not the clients and

furkids.

I will be moving my 3 dogs to a medical aid that

actually cares, as soon as possible and doesn't

focus on adverts and making you look good, cause I

have a huge social media group that I won't

recommend you at all.

Dear Eloise

We refer to your HelloPeter complaint dated 28 February 2019 contents of which have been noted.

Upon investigation of your complaint, it was established that you were advised during your policy inception of different cover plans, and then you opted for the Superior Plan.

The limits of cover relating to your plan were disclosed to you. These policy limits were again explained to you when you called to enquire about the consultation, diagnosis and treatment that Duke has undergone wanting to lodge a claim.

We regret to inform you that we cannot fault the insurer for processing and settling the claim in line with the terms and conditions of your policy.

Trust the above is in order.

Regards,

Dotsure Resolutions Team
