Dotsure Chronic Medication Disaster

Sadly Dotsure purchased Petsure last year and the benefits and problem resolution have deteriorated dramatically. A dog with heart murmur was covered with monthly chronic heart medication of approx R1180 per month by Petsure. Dotsure incorrectly state their benefits are "similar" to Petsure and accordingly monthly subscriptions have remained the same. The facts do not support similar benefits: their annual limit of R600 per diagnosis does not cover even 1/2 a months heart medication. Natasha states that this is for my protection! They have offered to make the annual limit of R3000 available for new conditions, but this does not apply to the existing hear murmur! Moving to another medical aid is also not possible as this would exclude the "pre existing" condition", also the dog is 12 years old and would not qualify for comprehensive cover elsewhere. Pet owners beware, this medical aid are less than transparent and charge the same premiums but offer very low benefits as compared to more established pet medical aid companies.
