Dotsure a no no

My car was damaged at the rear left fender after a reckless driver bump into me that did not stop at a stop. I had 3rd party insurance with dotsure. So I phones them and explained what happen so they can assist me to recover the damages from the driver that caused the accident’s insurance company. So this lady contacted me on a Saturday morning and claims she is from the legal department of Dotsure and she investigate the claim. What claim I asked her no she said my claim against dotsure for the damage on my vehicle. Now having a clear indication what a ”3rd party insurance” entails I have the understanding that I can’t claim for the damage on my car only for damage on someone else’s vehicle. Where did you hear something this absurd, they canceled my policy with immediate effect after they manage to convinced me to install a tracking device for R150 pm in my vehicle. When requested a explaination for this action they state their was inconsistencies with the ”claim”. The negative consequences of this is that my profile as a consumer is badly effected as for I will not be able to get insurance for my car as these companies is in cahoots with each other. We as consumers has no power against these giants. Regards Dr. Fourie
